Ramallah Center

Background

Ramallah is the capital of the Palestinian's nation, and many young people and new graduates of local universities seek job opportunities here in order to ultimately live and work here. The goals of the Ramallah center are: 1) to reach out to these young people with the Word of God in creative ways with contemporary ideas and, 2) to hold special training programs that enable them to better plan for their futures using their gifts and skills in the best possible ways.

Objectives:

• Reach out to the young people of the city of Ramallah
• Conduct training in leadership and developing enterprises - and other needed topics
• Have a media center that enables Ramallah's young people to connect through technology with others all over the world to give a message of hope.

Summary

We desire to reach out with the Word of God to the young people of Ramallah city, north of Jerusalem, by establishing a youth center that attracts them through creative and contemporary means.  We also conduct special training programs for their self-development.  We plan to move beyond the city limits to reach, with the Word of God, the many who come from neighboring villages to work in the city.
