The Palestinian Bible Society has signed an agreement with the Director of Education in the province of Jericho, Jordan Valley Mr Mohamed Hawash and the Head of the Kamar Charity Ibrahim Saad, to resume the implementation of lectures that aim at reducing school drop-out.

The Director of the MOE Mr Hawash, indicated that these workshops will start with the beginning of next semester, stressing the importance of these courses to educate parents and students to reduce school drop-out. Mr Hawash also provided thanks to all of the Bible Society for this initiative which comes in the context of supporting the development of education in the Palestinian areas of the Jordan Valley in the province of Jericho in particular.

For his part, Project Leader Simon Azazian thanked the MOE in Jericho for their cooperation, referring to the close relationship with the ministry while wishing further future cooperation in order to develop a project to reduce school dropouts and extended it to the rest of the Palestinian governorates in the Jordan Valley.
